This high gloss, black mare with a very distinctive personality also stands out because of her versatile talents for sport. The exceptional results at her broodmare performance test where she received an overall score of 8.48 proves this. Winterfee stands for the best rideability and outstanding talent for dressage as well as jumping. She is always willing to perform and give her best and with her friendly nature she easily wins the affection of people and horses.

We became the proud owners of this mare in October 2010 at the mare auction that was also held at the stallion licensing in Neumünster. Her full brother Windsor was licensed at the same time. A year later we purchased a licensed stallion named Iceman who is a three-quarter brother of Winterfee. Both of them convinced us by their potential for sport.

They are further proof that the combination of the advanced (S) level dressage stallions Ovaro and Schiffon is a good match. In further generations the double talented Habicht son Vivus is combined with Karin Rehbein’s internationally successful Grand Prix stallion Saint Cloud. More
