more on Karmencita

Karmencita, a member of the large Kassandra family which is probably the most influential and most successful Trakehner line world-wide, is the most significant daughter of the great founding mare, Kassette. Karmencita’s dam, St.Pr. and Pr. St. Karena, is the most valuable and memorable broodmare in Hämelschenburg’s first class mare herd. She not only has an impressive record in sport,  her character is first class as well. Her first experience in the limelight was in 2006 when she became the Champion Mare at the central broodmare registration in Lower Saxony. Following this, she won her broodmare performance test with 8.25 and then set off to win and place in tests for young riding and dressage horses, taking the Trakehner Riding Horse Champion title at the 2007 National Trakehner Show in Hanover. In further generations of Karmencita’s pedigree you find the Elite mares, Kleopatra und Kassiopeia, the dams of 7 licensed sons in total, including a champion stallion and 4 that reached advanced (S) level in all equestrian disciplines.
